Tour dates
Arriving in a cloud of raucous brass heavy music, driving their home made, flaming and smoking battle-church. Dressed in punk marching band attire & existing within their very own miniature apocalyptic microclimate.
These idiots are convinced that the inevitable end of the world is upon us, maybe today, maybe right here, maybe right now!
Their mission? To educate you into what to expect when we move into the next phase, the switch over into the new dawn, into the next frequency of consciousness.
Welcome to The band at the end of the world!
The show tells the story of the possible actual end of the world (as we know it) caused by humankind's self-destruction, coupled with themes of shared collective consciousness & taking responsibility for the world we live in.
The end result is a mixture of pure chaos coupled with uttermost poignancy, a arriving out of nowhere in a raucous cloud of brass heavy music, creating havoc & mayhem, then disappearing into the distance leaving only the mess and smell of it's existence behind, along with a few questions for the audience to ponder about their existence on this planet

Part processional, part static, incorporating elements of spectacle (fire & pyrotechnic), performed from the Battle-Church and supported by an original brass heavy, off kilter musical score played live by a clown ensemble of five musical cult members.
Touring as a standalone show or with a participatory offer.

Night time
New dusk time version for 2019. Up scaled pyro/effects and the transformation of the Battle-Church into a moving fire garden installation combine to create a chaotic spectacle with a deeper magical atmosphere.
Premiering at Freedom festival Hull 2019 and touring beyond as the full show or as a fiery musical glide about.
Touring as a standalone show or with a participatory offer.

Walkabout
Photos
New smaller scale walkabout version for 2019 (without the set/fire/pyro)
Roaming, brass heavy, musical, clown, mayhem.
Created from a combination of re-staging some of the existing big show, coupled with some newly developed material (including new musical content). Designed to create havoc, be in part improvised, spontaneous and interactive with its audience. Playing on a knife-edge of euphoria & devastation for the possible end of the world!

Participation

A participatory offer tours alongside the show, working with local brass/wind bands and/or emerging artists/local community performers/amateur actors to create an epic large scale, all-encompassing version of the show.
We work with the participants to create a large group of local believers who appear in the audience throughout the show, ramping up the dramatic content whilst creating an immersive performance atmosphere, with beautiful large-scale physical imagery and fantastical soundscapes created live by the performers and musicians.
The performance style is richly layered with euphoric expression, deep emotive energy, sublime spectacle and the ridiculous!
You can see this in action in 2019 at Newport's Big Splash & Freedom Festival Hull
