Club Supreme
In collaboration with Super Culture & Front Room we created and delivered a programme of performance and art based workshops, video creation and technical & performance training opportunities.
Over 5 weeks - We built towards performances of the Club Supreme installation and stage show.
Ramshacklicious brought a team of 8 professional performers, technicians and directors to collaborate with 23 locals including
• Humans of Weston Super Mare’s community Art group
• Open Doors community theatre group
• Emerging & professional performers - Including students from Weston College
• Emerging technicians Other collaborations have included:
• An earlier Weston Super Mare project with over 25 local participants
• A Glasgow based project with over 40 local participants
• A Twerton & Whiteway project with over 10 local participants
TRUTH!
A project to experiment with inclusive, co-created performance language using clown and physical theatre
Working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical performers, making a space for performers to improvise and play
The project has collaborated with over 60 people and has involved
• Workshops at Hijinx’s Cardiff performance academy
• Ramshacklicious, Taking Flight & Hijinx learning from international clown teacher Nicole Kehrberger
• Research, rehearsals and public performances with an integrated cast from Hijinx and Ramshacklicious
• Creative exchange between EGO Arts, Hijinx and Ramshacklicious through a residency at 101 Creation Centre
Band at the End of the World
A music, performance and fire based project that morphs in scale and presentation that has collaborated with over 50 people
One off performances have included:
The original, local ensemble of believers performed at Bedlam Fair, Bath
• 2 week creation process with acting students from Bath Spa Uni
• 4 sessions with a hotch potch band of local community musicianss
A big band version performed at The Big Splash, Newport
• 2 music sessions & 2 performance workshop rehearsals with 16 players from Crosshands silver band that built towards live shows
2 nights of an evening spectacle at Freedom Festival Hull
• A week long residency with 4 local community performers
• 4 sessions with 6 community musicians
